Watchdog Referral Rewards Program Terms
The referral must be submitted through the official Watchdog Roofing & Restoration referral form before the referred customer independently contacts, schedules with, or is entered into Watchdog Roofing & Restoration’s customer management system.
Referral rewards are available only for new customers and new opportunities that are not already known to, contacted by, scheduled with, under contract with, or actively being pursued by Watchdog Roofing & Restoration.
Free inspections, estimates, consultations, and roof certifications do not independently qualify for a referral reward.
A minimum completed contract value of $500 is required for any referral reward. No referral reward will be earned when the referred customer’s final completed and paid contract value is below $500.
A $50 referral reward may be earned when the referred customer completes and pays in full for a qualifying repair with a final contract value of at least $500 but less than $2,000.
A $250 referral reward may be earned when the referred customer completes and pays in full for a qualifying repair, roof replacement, or approved exterior project with a final contract value of $2,000 or more.
Referral eligibility must be based on the final completed and paid contract amount, not the original estimate amount. Change orders, refunds, cancellations, insurance adjustments, discounts, and unpaid balances may affect the qualifying contract value and referral payment.
After five qualifying paid referrals, the referrer may be eligible for an additional $250 bonus, subject to verification by Watchdog Roofing & Restoration.
Referral rewards are not earned until the qualifying work has been completed and Watchdog Roofing & Restoration has received final payment from the customer or applicable third party.
No referral reward will be paid for referrals made by an interested party to an active or anticipated real estate transaction involving the referred property. Prohibited interested parties include, but are not limited to, buyers, sellers, real estate agents, brokers, transaction coordinators, lenders, mortgage loan originators, title companies, settlement agents, appraisers, inspectors, attorneys, property managers, builders, contractors, insurance professionals, or any other person or business that may benefit financially or professionally from the closing, financing, sale, purchase, repair negotiation, insurance claim, or completion of the transaction.
This restriction is intended to prevent referral payments that could create an improper financial incentive, conflict of interest, undisclosed compensation arrangement, or violation of applicable real estate, lending, insurance, consumer protection, or settlement-service laws.
Employees, owners, subcontractors, and immediate family members of Watchdog Roofing & Restoration may be excluded from participation unless specifically approved in writing.
The referred customer may not refer themselves.
Duplicate referrals will be credited to the first eligible referrer whose complete submission is received and verified.
Referral rewards are limited to one reward per referred property, customer, or qualifying project unless Watchdog Roofing & Restoration approves otherwise in writing.
The referrer is responsible for providing accurate payment and tax information. Referral rewards may be taxable income. Watchdog Roofing & Restoration may require a completed IRS Form W-9 before issuing payment and may issue applicable tax reporting forms when legally required.
The annual top-referrer promotion, including any $2,500 cash prize or comparable promotional reward, is subject to separate eligibility requirements, verification, availability, and company approval.
Watchdog Roofing & Restoration reserves the right to verify all referrals, reject or disqualify referrals, interpret program terms, prevent abuse, modify or discontinue the program, and withhold payment when a submission is incomplete, misleading, fraudulent, duplicative, legally restricted, or otherwise ineligible.
Participation in the referral program does not create an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, contractor, or representative relationship with Watchdog Roofing & Restoration.
All referral eligibility and payment decisions are subject to final review and approval by Watchdog Roofing & Restoration.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a minimum project amount?
Yes. The completed project must have a final paid contract value of at least $500. Projects below $500, free inspections, estimates, consultations, and roof certifications do not qualify for a referral reward.
When will I receive my referral reward?
Referral rewards are reviewed after the qualifying project is completed and Watchdog Roofing & Restoration receives final payment. Approved payments will then be processed using the payment method arranged with the referrer.
Does a free roof inspection qualify?
No. The referral must result in a completed and fully paid qualifying repair, replacement, or approved exterior project with a final contract value of at least $500.
Can I refer more than one person?
Yes. There is no stated limit on the number of eligible referrals you can submit.
What happens after five qualifying referrals?
After five verified and paid qualifying referrals, you may be eligible for an additional $250 bonus.
Can a real estate professional submit a referral?
A real estate professional or other interested party cannot receive a referral payment when they are involved in an active or anticipated real estate transaction connected to the referred property. They may still contact Watchdog to request inspections, certifications, or services, but the referral may not qualify for a cash reward.
What if two people refer the same customer?
The reward will generally be assigned to the first eligible and verifiable referral received through the official form.
Are referral rewards taxable?
Referral payments may constitute taxable income. Watchdog may request a Form W-9 and issue tax reporting documents when required.
